I’m Mai, and this blog is all about foolproof, tried-and-true recipes—mostly desserts—that I’ve simplified so you can easily whip them up at home with basic ingredients, and everyday kitchen tools.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Bangkok, moved to Germany after getting married, and since 2011, I’ve called Sydney, Australia home. Growing up in a food-loving family, I spent weekends happily baking cakes and cookies with my mum—sneaking bites of unbaked dough before she could wash the mixing bowl and impatiently waiting for the treats to come out of the oven. Over the years, my love for food only grew as I travelled to over 40 countries, discovering new flavours and inspirations along the way.
